HER PASSION

about Giovanna

As an Italian-Mexican, born in my family's restaurant business, I have been fascinated with the preparation, presentation, flavor, and enjoyment of food! As of now, I am a student at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island studying Italian Studies and Economics. My fasciation with food blogging and sharing began after a course I took at Brown, "The History of Italy through Food." There I was able to delve into the history of pizza, pasta, espresso, bread, and various regional Italian cuisines. Italy's kitchen and cooking philosophy fascinates me: cook with the ingredients are the most fresh locally and share a nice dinner surrounded by family and friends, accompanied by a glass of wine.


So as we embark on a journey through the world, I invite you to see food as an art, as an experience, as a way of sharing and living life with others. Remember, we should love to live, and so we live to eat!
